Research tells us we are living longer and in Ireland today the number of older people is growing and the growth is particularly fast in the 80+ age group. In addition, to this those people living alone is expected to increase dramatically in the next 20 years.

The move towards a homecare model is increasing in Ireland, with many older people opting for this type of homecare Service. The care required to maintain independent living can be as little as 1-2 hours a day. We at Care-At-Home can provide this care you, helping you with all your care needs, offering you peace of mind and independence.

A home care assistant visiting twice a day to help with both personal care , meal preparation, light house work and importantly a chat and a cup of tea can help to achieve this goal an elderly person.

Care needs can vary enormously between individuals, and we at Care at Home pride ourselves in supporting families in achieving a balance approach, helping where appropriate and necessary while promoting Independence at the same time.

However, our In House Occupational Therapist Fiona Edwards is always at hand to provide additional support and training where it is required.
